Animal lover. Vegetarian. Optimist. Driven. Workaholic. Domestically challenged. Cheerful. Dedicated. Former Giftshop owner. Former Computer Programmer. Former Motorcycle mechanic. Occasional bartender. Three-time homeowner. Still have my first car: a 1967 Ford Mustang. Proud to say Never Been Married. Jeep lover. Have tatoos. Always learning. Sensitive (as in "I see dead people"). I like adding kooky colors to my short dark hair (say, purple or pink). Not for the attention but because I just don't care what others think of my hair and I happen to like it that way. Its only HAIR, folks. Get over it. Have a little fun once in a while. I worked as a Computer Programmer in Corporate America for nearly 18 years when I was laid off in August 2008. At that time I was working full-time as a Programmer plus in 2006, I had opened and been running a giftshop alongside my “day job”. Between both jobs I was putting in a minimum of 100+ hours per week and I worked 7 days/wk. I had 3 days off per year: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. Although I didn’t know it at the time, I was exhausted. I was never home. I was always working. So the day I was laid off was actually one of the best days of my life! Despite having not one, but 2 mortgages to cover, I was elated. I knew a major shift was happening in my life and I was so ready. I knew I could no longer do the “Corporate” thing. It was time for change. And change it did. I closed the store in September 2008 and the store’s website was soon to follow. I now own my own business with a company called Arbonne and it has been an amazing experience. By the time the one year anniversary of being laid off arrives, I will have not only met, but surpassed the income I made as a Programmer. No more reporting to the office. No more on-call. No more letting someone ELSE decide how much money I make. No more alarm clock and no more commute in rush hour traffic. And the best part of my new business is the fact that my main focus is to teach and train others to do exactly what I do, so that they too, can change the way they earn money. And it works. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. So if you are interested in making a 2nd income which could easily go from your “Plan B” to your “Plan A”, please contact me. I am always looking for new business partners and I’d love to share my business with you. Visit my website: www.choose.myarbonne.com Shine on
